new Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
will allow images and information to be accessed by multiple users at
multiple locations at any given time.

of Images-As soon as images have been acquired on a patient, they
will be available for review on specialized computers or PCs.

to images-All electronic images are store in a single large depository.
They are available anywhere and anytime throughout the system. They
are also accessible outside the center via the internet.

or films
- As images
are reviewed by referring physicians or staff, reports and a voice
clip of the impression is available.
- Radiologists
can easily create their own collection of interesting images from
their patients
